Dear DiGiorno Customers,
We want to formally apologize for the negligence our company showed over Twitter yesterday in regards to a hashtag about domestic violence. We, in no way, shape, or form condone domestic violence and are incredibly sorry if we offended anyone. We would never take the issue of domestic violence to try and sell pizzas, and have taken the appropriate measures to eliminate the source of this careless behavior in our organization. We will continue to work hard to regain your respect and show that our customers’ well-being and happiness is our top priority. With Domestic Violence Awareness Month coming up in October, we are going to get involved with various organizations that are fighting to decrease the alarming number of domestic violence instances in the U.S. If you were offended by our #WhyIStayed tweet, please email or call our national headquarters with your concerns. We would love to talk to you. Our organization has never supported domestic violence and never will. We promise going forward, we will do everything we can to make this situation right and make you proud to purchase DiGiorno products. Contact at: 1-800-225-2270, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST or email [email protected]
